The sequel to A Link to the Past now has a title: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. This sequel to the beloved SNES title is heading exclusively to Nintendo’s 3DS this November.
Nintendo has announced via Nintendo Direct that a new Zelda title set in the world established in SNES classic A Link to the Past will be coming to the 3DS this holiday season. The game features 3D visuals presented in a classic top-down fashion. The effects available on the 3DS will give a new dimension to puzzle solving by enabling a better perspective on environment heights and things of that nature. The 3D visuals won’t be the only thing changing how puzzles are done with Link having the ability to become a 2D painting on a wall to work his way around certain environmental obstacles.
